Europa League: playtime for Ugandan defender as OFK match to groups

Ronald Mukiibi featured for 67 minutes in Oestersunds FK’s 2-0 win over Greece Super League side PAOK Thessaloniki FC in a Europa League qualification match on Thursday night.

The Swedish side lost the first leg 3-1 in Thessaloniki but two quick goals from Saman Ghoddos in the 71 and 77th minute ensured the side goes through on away goal advantage.

Mukiibi played 71 minutes in the first leg and 67 on Thursday before giving way to Dennis Widgren.

Mukiibi is a Swedish footballer of Ugandan descent. He was summoned to the Uganda Cranes in November last year ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Congo Brazaville but declined.
