USL: Zake’s Ottawa gets one over Charlotte Independence in Kalungi's absence

Ugandan youngster, Azake Luboyera featured slightly over an hour as Ottawa Fury Fc defeated Charlotte Independence 3-1in the United soccer league palyed at the TD Place stadium in Ottawa, Orlando.

Another veteran Ugandan midfielder, Henry Kalungi, who turns out for Charlotte Independence, was an unused substitute.

Edward Eddie, Gerardo Buna and Reid Adonijah scored for the Canadian club while David Spies grabbed the consolation for the Charlottes.

Charlotte Indipendence maintains their top spot in the league with 40 points, though with two games more while Ottawa is tenth with 27 points in the fifteen-team league.

In the other matches played, Ibra Ssekagya’s New York Red Bulls oicked a point in a noe all draw against Charleston battery in South Carolina.
