Afc Bournemouth have completed the signing of Nathan Ake from Premier League Champions Chelsea for a club record fee of £20m.

The Dutch  international, who spent the first half of last season on loan with the Cherries, has signed a five-year deal at the Vitality Stadium. Ake netted three goals in 12 games for Bournemouth before Chelsea boss Antonio Conte recalled him as cover in January.

Ake moved to Chelsea from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2012 as a 16-year-old, and made 17 appearances for the club in total. He has made 41 career appearances in the Premier League, including 24 appearances for Watford during his season-long loan at Vicarage Road in 2015-16.
