Liverpool set to sign Serie A striker as back-up for Firmino

Liverpool are already preparing for the future as they are reportedly willing to sign a striker as back-up for Roberto Firmino.

Inter Milan wonderkid Sebastian Esposito is the one that has caught the eyes of Liverpool.

Empire of the kop report that Liverpool have put forward an enticing financial package to Inter Milan for 17-year-old.

However, FC Inter News say their 17-year-old wants to remain in Italy.

“In the past few months, very rich offers had arrived with the Nerazzurri: PSG, Dortmund, Liverpool and Manchester City had come forward with great insistence, but Esposito is happy at Inter and together with his parents Agostino and Flavia have rejected any kind of advances,” they write.

Esposito has made three appearances in Serie A and three in the Champions League already this term.
