Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful of having a good number of his first-team players back to the starting lineup in the upcoming run of fixtures.
Speaking after Man United's encouraging 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, the Norwegian suggested some of his stars will be back soon enough, starting with Thursday's Europa League match against Partizan Belgrade.
The team was largely boosted by the return of Anthony Martial, who has been out for a couple of weeks, as well as Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the Sunday tie.
There was also relief after David De Gea was passed fit to face Liverpool, despite concerns following his injury while with the Spanish national team.
Solskjaer's only major concern is defender Axel Tuanzebe, who was reported to have sustained a hip injury while in the warm-up.
“I don’t know how Axel is but hopefully Jesse [Lingard] is back soon,“ said Ole, when asked how his injury list looked like.
“Anthony will be able to play more,” he added.
The former Red Devil also gave a positive response to the query on Paul Pogba's recovery, having failed to get ready for the Liverpool clash.
“We’re going to have a test on Pogba tomorrow and see where he’s at and how long it’ll be until he’s back,” Solskjaer said.
“Luke is not too long [away],” reported Ole. “So, it’s looking brighter and that’s a big plus as well.”
The return of key players will no doubt boost United as they fight to recover from an early slump, which has seen them stuck to the bottom half of the table.
They are currently 13th on the log after their 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
