Fati Ansu's star at Barcelona continues to shine, after another wonderful display at Camp Nou in a 5-2 win over Valencia in a La Liga match played on Saturday evening.
The youngster was once against the star of the show as he grabbed a goal and an assist, as Barcelona bounced back from their 2-2 draw against Osasuna last time out.
Fati scored during the match two weeks ago, and opened the scoring on Saturday night with only two minutes on the clock with a nicely-hit first time shot from inside the box, before turning provider five minutes later, cutting back for Frenkie de Jong to smash in a second following a beautiful run from the edge of the box.
The visitors pulled one back on the 27th minute, but Gerard Pique restored Barca's two-goal lead five minutes after the re-start.
Luis Suarez, who was making a return following an injury then grabbed a brace, before Gomez Gonzalez's 92nd-minute strike made it 5-2.
Coach Valverde praised Fati after his stunning show, saying he has taken his chances well and is achieving so much for the club at a tender age.
"It is not easy for anyone to play for Barca, even less so for someone as young as Ansu Fati... It is not normal for him to score on the first ball, assist on the second," he said after the match.
The win saw the champions move up to fourth on the La Liga standings on seven points, two behind league leaders Atletico Madrid, who are on nine.
