Sofapaka midfielder Musa Mudde beleives that they deserved better from their loss to SoNy Sugar.

The 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions were bundled out of the KPL Top 8 by SoNy, who run out 1-0 winners in their quarter final clash, Wednesday 14 March 2012.

Joshua Oyoo scored the lone goal, late in the match to secure victory.

Mudde, who was on the sidelines due to illness, is adamant that they were unlucky to lose the match with their level of performance.

Did not deserve to lose

-I think that we played well and deserved some more from the match.

-SoNy played very deep and protected their goal very well, but we were in control throughout the game and deserved to be in the semi-finals.

-However, they have won and now all we can do is focus on the weekend and ensure we bounce back, he told Futaa.com.

Sofapaka will travel to Kakamega to face Western Stima in the KPL on Sunday 18 March 2012.
