Aston Villa and Burnley have reportedly agreed on a fee for captain Tom Heaton according to numerous reports.
The England international is currently on the final year of his contract with Burnley and has been heavily linked with a summer move to Villa.
According to The Telegraph reports (via Shoot), Villa are edging closer to sealing a deal that will cost them a fee in the range of £8million to sign the goalkeeper.
Heaton was dealt with massive injury woes during the 2017/18 season which resulted in him being on the sidelines for most of it but managed to make his way back last campaign and former Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.
Villa manager Dean Smith has had a busy summer transfer window this far which has seen him sign on ten new players and counting.
The Villa Park club were promoted to the Premier League last season having suffered relegation back in 2016 and will look to cement their place back in topflight.
