Dropped Wazito FC left-back Yusuf Mohammed is training with Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards with the hope that he earn a deal with the side.
Mohammed who comes with a KPL experience after featuring for Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka FC was one of the casualties of the chop at Wazito who has been on a signing spree.
In his place, the KPL newbies are believed to be in talks with Rwnadese left-back Sbouba Sibomana to fill the void with the player previously having featured for Gor Mahia.
Apart from Mohammed, another player who is training with Leopards in their preseason base in Kakamega is Green Commandos young forward Castro Likhanga.
Should the duo sign, they will be joining a series of players that have already been roped by the team ahead of the new season.
The new players include Malian striker Ismaila Diarra, Ugandan goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan, defensive midfielder Tresor Ndikumana, striker Hansel Ochieng, midfielder Vincent Habamahoro and defenders Robert Ayala with Soter Kayumba.
The new faces replaced released players like Wayi Yeka, goalkeeper Eric Ndayishimiye, Ivan Sekazza, Marcel Kaheza, Aziz Okaka, Paul Were, David Ochieng and Shami Kibwana.
