Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards have so far confirmed five signings as the team prepares for the 2019/20 season.
The team which managed to finish eleventh in the league lasts season have already snapped Burundian midfielder Tresor Ndikumana who joins the club on a two-year deal.
Others who have officially joined the Andre Cassambungo coached side are Robert Mudenyu from Sony Sugar FC, Striker Hansel Ochieng from Nzoia Sugar FC, Malian Ismail Diarra and Ugandan goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.
The team currently in Mumias for their preseason preps already have released some players as they gear to improve their side.
Those released to give way for the new faces include Wayi Yeka, goalkeeper Eric Ndayishimiye who has already joined Rwandese side AS Vita, Ivan Sekazza and Marcel Kaheza whose loan deal was terminated.
Others are Aziz Okaka, Paul Were, David Ochieng all whose contracts were not renewed and Shami Kibwana who was sent back to parent club KCB after his loan deal expired.
The team lost young defender Yusuf Mainge too with the player set to join Slovakia side Slovakian side FK Pohronie on a season-long loan.
