Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards have completed the signing of Nzoia Sugar FC attacker Hansel Ochieng for an undisclosed period.
Ochieng has flirted with Leopards for the better part of the current window but was laid back due to the lack of release letter from the parent club.
Having scored six goals last season for Nzoia, the attacker will hope to add the required firepower to the Leopards attack who in the last season struggled to find goals from it strikers.
Meanwhile, the club is said to be interested in the services of Sony Sugar FC defender Robert Ayala Mudenyi.
The interest comes at a time when Leopards are looking to replace defender David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng whose contract with the club ended.
Apart from Ochieng, Leopards has thus far officially released eight players in Paul Were, Aziz Okaka, Wayi Yeka, Eric Ndayishimiye, Ivan Sekazza, Marcel Kaheza, and Shami Kibwana.
The club is set to lose young defender Yusuf Mainge who is off to Slovakia and goalkeeper Jairus Adira who is attracting interest from KPL rivals Posta Rangers.
The Andre Cassambungo coached side has already snapped the services of Uganda keeper Benjamin Ochan.
