After becoming the first club to complete a domestic treble, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he still wants to improve his side ahead of next season.
City became the first club since Manchester United in 2009 to win back to back English Premier League titles pipping Liverpool to the crown by a single point. Pep Guardiola's side had already bagged the Carabao Cup back in February after beating Chelsea in the final and followed that up this weekend by walloping Watford 6-0 to equal the biggest winning margin in an FA Cup final.
Guardiola revealed that he is still looking to improve City ahead of next season, "Continue to try to play good and to arrive at the last stages of competitions, fighting, you know the players follow us to do that. That is what I want, that is my target for the next season, to keep this spirit, this group follow our people and now it’s our turn to celebrate for three days with our fans and then afterwards take a break, especially the staff because the players, some of them, will still be playing. That is the next target."
