They're only five points clear of the relegation zone and need another win or two to guarantee their top-flight status.
Southampton has scored in eleven of the twelve games under new manager Hasenhuttl, and both teams have scored in 10 of Southampton's last 11 matches, and we see that run extending here.
Liverpool is aiming to secure a fourth successive league victory over Southampton for the first time in their history. Can they do it here at a crunch stage in the title race?

Yet Hasenhuttl will be without his first choice striker Danny Ings for this match, as he is ineligible to face his parent club. Mario Lemina, Shane Long, Michael Obafemi and Jannik Vestergaard could also be missing with injury
At a demanding point of the season, Klopp is close to having a fully fit squad to choose from. Joe Gomez and ex-Saint Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are the only players currently missing, as they attempt to regain fitness after lengthy injuries.
Watch out for James Ward-Prowse who has scored in each of his last two Premier League matches at St Mary's, and ex-Southampton darling Sadio Mane, who has five goals in his last five Premier League matches. Virgil van Dijk, yet another Southampton connection, will marshal Liverpool's defence.
