Despite bagging a hat-trick in the 6-0 thumping of Chelsea, Sergio Aguero was guilty of missing a sitter in the first half with his teammate Raheem Sterling taking to Twitter to troll the Argentine for the miss.
City were 1-0 up when Bernardo Silva played the ball across the face of the goal to an unmarked Aguero, who had the simple task of tapping in the ball to double the Cityzens lead but he instead failed to hit the target. Aguero put the miss behind him as he went on to score a hat-trick which is his second consecutive home hat-trick after securing one against Arsenal.
Sterling posted a picture of Aguero’s miss on Twitter with the caption, “now the game is done, good result & hat trick, explain this pls [sic] (also can we act like it never happened to me?).”
