Maurizio Sarri fears for his job as Chelsea manager after his side were blown out of the water by Manchester City on Sunday.
The Blues 6-0 loss was the heaviest defeat they have suffered since a 7-0 drubbing against Nottingham Forest in 1991.
“I don’t know. You have to ask the club,” Sarri said when asked if he feared being sacked: “I am worried about my team, I’m worried about the performance. But my job is always at risk.”
The former Napoli manager expects to have talks with the club’s hierarchy following their worst ever defeat in the Premier League.
“I think that will happen because that is normal.” He said
“It’s something we need to do. I am in charge of the team, so it’s right.
“If the president calls, I’ll be happy, seeing as I never hear from him.
“To be honest, I don’t know what to expect.”
The Blues slumped to sixth as a result, separated from Arsenal by goal difference in the race for top four.
