Robert Lewandowski has been ranked as one of the best strikers in Europe and it is no surprise that he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid or Manchester United in the summer.

German magazine Kicker is reporting that United has made a move for the 29-year-old Polish striker and an update by Mark Lovell, ESPN’s Bayern Munich correspondent, confirms the report. The details of the approach by United are however being kept on the low until a deal is finalized, if there will be any.

What about Real Madrid?

Real Madrid was also interested in Lewandowski but they are said to have shifted their focus to Spurs’ England international, Harry Kane.

Lewandowski is under contract at Bayern Munich until 2021 but after changing his agent recently, he is said to be eyeing a move to one of Europe’s top dogs.
