Arsenal, Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in acquiring Toulouse defender Issa Diop.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo has claimed that a number of top European clubs sent their scout to monitor the Frenchman during their recent clash against Paris Saint-Germain, in which the skipper emerged as arguably the best player on the pitch.

Diop skilfully kept talismanic PSG forward Neymar Jr at bay for majority of the fixture, and kept the Ligue 1 up-and-comers focused on the match despite awarding the French giants an own goal after deflecting a volley by Neymar into his own net.

In demand

Serie A juggernauts Inter Milan and Tottenham are also rumoured to have disclosed their interest in signing the 21-year-old.

This development is likely to set up a scramble for the linchpin’s service in the near future, which is likely to significantly raise the standout’s market value.
