Kabwe and Ajax lose Ikapa derby

Zambian midfielder Rodrick Kabwe played 58 minutes for Ajax Cape town in their 2 nil loss to Cape town City in the Ikapa derby.

City opened the scoring in the through Nigerian international Obinna who scored his first Cape town City goal in the 34th minute while  second half substitute moseamedi put the last nail in the coffin in the 87th minute to seal all three points

City coach Ben McCarthy said prior to the match that the derby meant a lot to the fans and that he  had three points and would not manage to face the chairman without 3 points.

Ajax Cape town remain stuck in the bottom half of the table with only five points collected so far.
