Vipers capture Congolese striker

Vipers Sports Club has shown their intentions to compete for the 2017-18 Uganda premier League and Uganda cup going by their recent transfers.

The club’s recent acquisition is a Congolese marksman, Clovis Mbayi Moussa who has joined on a three year deal.

The player reportedly joins from DR Congo LInafoot side FC Saint-Etoi Lupopo where he featured for a season.

He has also played for AS Dauphins Noirs for about four seasons.

- I have made the best choice joining Vipers sports club, I am ready to work with the team and win trophies,  Mbayi said during the unveiling at the St. Mary’s stadium on Monday.

The Congolese striker has been undergoing trials under Jorge Miguel Da Costa’s watch and reportedly impressed the Portuguese tactician.

The club has already signed Tadeo Lwanga, Yayo Lutimba, Steven Mukwala and Tom Matsiko.
