Yanga coach linked with Gor Mahia job

Young Africans (Yanga) FC Zambian head coach George Lwandamina has been linked with a move to Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC.

Gor Mahia FC is currently under interim coach Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno following the exit of Brazilian Coach Jose Fereira Marcelo. The Brazilian quit his job at Gor Mahia FC to join Albanian side FK Tirana.

The 2015 Kenyan Premier League champions are  in search of a coach who will fill Ze Maria‚Äôs shoes. Zambia outlet Zamfoot now reports that the former Chipolopolo coach is likely to leave the Tanzania side after leading them to 2016-2017 Vodacom Premier League title.

According to Zamfoot, the 2016/17  Tanzanian Premier League champions have been struggling to pay foreign players something that is likely yo push the Zambian out.

Lwandamina led Zesco United home to Kenya trio Jesse Were, David Owino and Anthony Akumu to the semi final of the CAF Champions League in 2016 before making a shock move to Tanzania.
