Reports indicate that Ethiopian giants St. George are in in talks with Uganda Cranes and Vipers Sports Club goalkeeper Isma Watenga on a possible transfer.

St. George is currently in the race to get another quality custodian after their first choice Robert Odongkara was sidelined with a knee injury.

According to TBM sports, the club is expected to decide on the next course of action next week after the medical team fully assess Odongkara's case.

The lanky goalie was expected to undergo a surgery but was pushed forward for the team to fully examine other options.

Watenga is currently with the Uganda Cranes in Senegal preparing to face Cape Verde on Saturday in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
