Arsenal will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley stadium on Saturday and these are the key players to watch.

The Blues can complete a Premier League and FA Cup double with victory on Saturday, while Arsenal can end the season on a high note in what has been a difficult year for Arsene Wenger's side.

Arsenal Players

Arsene Wenger will be banking on a win after not been able to get a chance of top four finish in the Premier League.

Petr Cech
Cech has been a regular starter  this season, recording a superior save percentage of 55%. The 35-year-old has won  four FA Cups with chelsea.

Alexis Sanchez

The 28-year-old, who has been on fire for Arsenal this season, scoring 30 goals, providing 12 assist in all competitions, is a constant threat inside the box talented enough to be able to score goals when put in opportunistic positions.

Mesut Ozil

Ozil is known for his quick feet, marauding runs and strong passes. The German international has scored 14 goals, providing 13 assist this season for Arsenal.

Granit Xhaka

Xhaka has become a leader for  Arsenal engine room after joining the club in May 2016. He is a great passer, with his ability to deliver pinpoint long diagonals forward leading. The Midfielder has scored four goals, and two assists for Arsenal this season.

Olivier Giroud

Giroud is not just a strong goalscorer, but also a terrific all-rounder who is ideally suited to the way Arsene Wenger likes his teams to play. Blessed with a superb first touch and great vision, the French international  is the perfect abstract  for pacey off-the-ball runners such as Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez, with whom he has combined well during his time at the Emirates Stadium.

The 30-year-old has scored 26 goals, providing four assists for his team.

Rob Holding

In the absence of  Laurent Koscielny, Wenger will be forced to change his formation, Rob Holding will be able to control the defence with Per mertesacker and probably Shkodran Mustafi if he passes late fitness. The 21-year-old has recorded 83.3% passing accuracy.


In absence of Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel Paulista,Kieran Gibbs  Arsene Wenger will have to  change his formation and put four people especially on the defence side or Chelsea are going to cut through Arsenal like a knife through butter.


Antonio Conte will be looking to make his season greater by winning a double by beating Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Key players

Thibaut Courtois

Courtois has been a regular player, recording a superior save percentage of 64% compared to the 55% of Arsenal stopper Petr Cech.

Eden Hazard

However, since the start of the new season, under the influence of Antonio Conte, Hazard has been a completely different player. The 26-year-old has helped lift Chelsea to the Premier League summit. Hazard is a marvelous player he can get on the ball in the open spaces and can  cause problems. The wizard has left opponents for dead as he dribbles his way through defensive barriers in mesmeric fashion.

Diego Costa

Costa is known for frustrating his opponent, he stamp the defenders at slight opportunity he gets, with the absence of Koscielny Arsenal defence will be very weak and the 28-year-old will not hesitate to  make Holding and the rest of the defender feel his presence.

The Spanish international has scored 25 goals and contributed seven assists for his team this season.

Michy Batshuayi

Batshuayi was unlikely Chelsea hero as he scored the 82nd-minute goal that clinched the title for Conte’s team at West Bromwich Albion. The 23-year-old has been scoring out of the bench and Conte won't hesitate to put him when things go haywire.

The Belgian international has scored 10 goals and providing one assist this season.

N’Golo Kante

Kante scored his FA goal vs United in the QFs,The France international his fast and good at interception and he will cause problem for Arsenal midfield. The 26-year-old has recorded 89.2% passing  accuracy and can provide angled runs upfront.

Gary Cahill

Cahill is a dependable defender and well adapted at playing in central defence. His top shelf performances have seen him called up to the national team frequently.


With Arsenal lacking key players at the back through injuries and suspension, Chelsea could capitalize on this and win the FA Cup.
