Hull City manager to Porto?

23 May 2017, 19:15

Hull City manager Marco Silva is in Portugal to hold talks with Porto about taking over their vacant manager’s job.

The Portuguese, who has a relegation release clause in the Hull deal he signed in January said at the weekend he expected to make a decision on his future by Wednesday. Porto are in search for a new manager after parting ways with Nuno Espirito Santo and it is understood that former Sporting manager Silva is now discussing a return to Portugal.

Silva replaced Mike Phelan but was unable to save Hull from relegation but registered six home wins in the Premier League. Despite the humiliation Hull faced in the final game of season in the hands of Spurs, losing 7-1, the Tigers’ supporters chanted throughout the game for Silva to stay.
