Asia Championship: Uganda Cranes defender's slip costs team

Uganda Cranes assistant captain Hassan Waswa featured full time as his Lebanon club Al-Nejmeh Sports Club picked an uninspiring one all draw against Jordan's Al Wehdat in an Asia Football Championship cup.

Waswa was partly responsible for the visitors goal after diverting Al Bashtawi's angled shot past his own goalie Abdel Mawla in the 84th minute.

The hosts struggled but pulled back through Abdelrazaq Al Husein with only two minutes left to play on the normal time.

Nejmah lost the first leg 1-0 to their opponents in Jordan late last month.

The loss leaves Waswa's side bottom of group C with only four points from five games.
