Reigning Africa player of the year, Denis Onyango maintained a second clean sheet since returning from injury as his club Mamelodi Sundowns picked a 1-0 win over Free States Stars at the James Motlatsi Stadium.

Motjeka Madisha confirmed the three points with a clinical strike in the last minute of added time in the first stanza burying from Kharma Billiat's corner.

The Brazilians had gone about five league games without a win before turning their fortunes in the midweek as they welcomed back Onyango and hammered Supersport United 5-0.

The win pushes the defending league and continental champions to 41 points, four below leaders Cape Town Stars with two games to spare.
