Abondo-less Ajax held by Eymael coached side

Ajax Cape town win-less streak continued as they were held to 1-1 draw by visiting Polokwane on Tuesday night.

Cape Town who are missing the services of Kenyan International Ali Abondo scored at the fourth minute of the game through Nathan Paulse.

Former Leopards coach

Polokwane which is coached by former AFC Leopards coach Luc Eymael equalized through a penalty kick that was conceded by Heinrich Peiterson who was sent off due to the offence.

The side has just collected three points from the last three league matches and are placed ninth on the Premier Soccer league table.


They face sixth placed Cape Town City in their next League assignment.
