Origi out of Spurs clash

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that the duo of Emre CAan and Divock Origi will be unavailable come Saturday 27 August when they face Tottenham Hotspurs in a Premier League clash.

Can limped off with an ankle injury, while Origi suffered cramp in the closing stages of the Reds' 5-0 victory over Burton Albion in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

Not that serious but...

Neither injuries are serious, but it is unlikely that the duo will be fit enough to feature at White Hart Lane this weekend.

-We need to wait a little bit. With Emre there is nothing really serious in the ankle, but it is his ankle where he had a few problems in the past. It should not be long, but maybe not for the Tottenham game. It's the same with Divock, it's not serious. There are different levels of cramp, Klopp told reporters in a press conference

Meanwhile, Klopp has claimed that Daniel Sturridge does not have a “fixed position” after the England international stated that he was unhappy playing wide.
