Second start for Omollo as Antwerp gets first loss

Kenyan attacking Midfielder Johanna Ochieng Omollo featured for 90 minutes as his side Royal Antwerp fell by a solitary goal to Lommel United on Friday night.

The firsthalf of the Division B clash played at Bosuilstadion ended at a stalemate after both sides failed to find the net.


12 minutes to the final whistle, Lommel won a penalty and Scheelen Wouter stepped up and sent it past Antwerp keeper Bertrams Jesse.

Antwerp lost despite dominating play and making three shots on target, winning four corners while the opponents managed just one shot on target.

This was Omollo's second start of the season and third appearance after playing as substitute in their opener that saw them draw. He played also in the second match that was the first win of the season.
