Olunga clocks 90 as tough times continue

Kenyan International Michael Olunga's side Djurgardens IF suffered the fifth consecutive loss and the 11th of the season after allowing Kalmar to make a second half comeback to get 2-1 win in the Swedish top tier league match played on Monday 1 August 2000 hours.

Olunga's side started the match played at Guldfågeln Arena strongly scoring a goal in the fourth minute through Sweden midfielder Kevin Walker and the side managed to hold on the lead  till the 68th minute.


Kalmar turnaround came at the 69th minute when Gambian defender Omar Colley scored in his goal to equalize for the hosts.

Five minutes later Brazilian midfielder  Romario Pereira Sipiao scored past Djurgardens keeper Kenneth Hoie to ensure that they won the match watched by close to 8336 fans.

This is the third match in a row that former Gor Mahia forward Michael Olunga is playing all the 90 minutes.


After the loss, Olunga's side is still 7 points above relegation zone and the teams placed it behind the side are Falkenberg and Gefle who are tied at 8 points.b
