London life begins for Wanyama
Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama began his life in London on Monday 4 July where he attended Tottenham Hotspur training session Enfield Training Centre.
Wanyama had gymnasium session alongside Christian Eriksen and other outfield training session. He told Tottenham's official portal after the session that he is proud to wear the club's jersey and feels home because players at the camp were friendly.
-It has been great, and putting on the Spurs Kit felt so good. I met the players for the first time and it felt like I’ve been here already, but it was my first day. Everyone was really friendly and I was really happy with the way everyone responded to me, said Wanyama.
-I felt so welcome. It’s the first time I’ve met Chris and it was good to see him. The lads were also fantastic. I’ve had a great reception today. I’m really happy, he added.
Wanyama later went on to post his picture at the session alongside Son Heung-min encrypted in a tweet -First training session today ! .
The midfielder was captured from Southampton for £11m signing five-year deal that will keep him at White Hart lane.
