Al Ahly prodigy Mahmoud Trezeguet Hassan may join up French Ligue 1 side Nice if he successfully completes his trials with the club.

The French Ligue1 outfit are said to be interested in the youngster for trial before they can tie him up with a contract if he impresses the coaches and scouts.

-Nice have sent us a fax asking to hand Trezeguet a trial with a view to signing him, Ahly's football director Hady Khashaba said on the club's official website.

Committed

-The player's commitments with Ahly and the national youth team could prevent him from undergoing the trial now but we will set another date later so that Trezeguet can travel and have that trial, he added.

The prodigy was part of Egypt's U-20 side that won the African Championship last month and has been on form this year, covering up for the injured skipper Hossam Ghaly in Al Ahly’ midfield.
