Marcus Rashford sends special message to Man United fans as he starts journey to recovery

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has promised the club's fans that he will be involved in all team sessions even as he recovers from injury.

The striker was ruled out for a minimum of three months following a back he sustained against Wolves in midweek, which ruled him out of the tie against Liverpool on Sunday evening.

In a Twitter post on his official account, the 22-year-old sent a touching message to the fans and promised to stick with the team at all times.

"On the pitch or not, @ManUtd fans don’t get much bigger than me. You best believe I'll be involved in team meetings, team huddles and team sessions throughout this recovery," read the message.

His absence will be a major loss for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, considering his fine form this season and also since he does not have enough men upfront.

The Norwegian will now have to rely on Antony Martial and Mason Greenwood as the only true strikers, having failed to replace Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, who left for Inter Milan during the summer.

Rashford has scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, with 14 of those come in the Premier League.
