πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡² Fathi believes Napsa Stars is still on the right track on their continental football quest

Napsa Stars head coach Muhammad Fathi believes his side is still on the right track despite suffering their second defeat of the season on Saturday when they went down one-nil at the hands of Power Dynamos.

Fathi reiterated his teams' ambitions to finish in the top four and qualify to play in the CAF inter-club competitions.

"Our target is to finish in the top four and play continent football and I believe we are still on the right track," he said.

On the loss to Power Dynamos, Fathi feels his side suffered an unfair defeat but was reluctant to go into the details.

"I think it was not fair for us to lose today even the red card. I don't like to talk about what happened on the pitch but we have to focus on our next game. They will still come to Lusaka in the second round," he said.

" It's an away game and we have not lost many away games and this was not fair anyway it's water under the bridge."

"There were a lot of issues and not from the players, I appreciate my players they gave their best today. I'm not interested in talking about it, We lost the game on Paper, " he added.

Napsa Stars missed a chance to open a three-point lead and remains in second place tied on points with leaders Zesco United.
