Medical reports have revealed that Ghana international Christian Atsu will not be kickstarting his season with Newcastle United due to the injury he sustained at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Black Stars winger was part of the Ghana national team and his progress was cut short when he suffered an injury in the team's second match against Cameroon.
Newcastle United have already played two matches in the Premier League - it is yet to be seen when Atsu will be included in a matchday squad.
At the moment, reports suggest that he will likely not feature against Norwich City.
Magpies manager Steve Bruce is monitoring his situation and will only give him a role in his team when he regains full fitness.
