Zambia national team striker Fashion Sakala came from the bench to score the winning goal for KV Oostende who recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over giants Anderlecht in a Belgian Jupiler Pro League matchday one encounter away at the Stade Constant Vanden Stock.

Sakala started the match on the bench and was introduced in the 58th minute to replace Venezuelan midfielder, Ronald Alejandro Vargas Aranguren.

Anderlecht drew first blood just thirteen minutes into the match with Holland midfielder Michael Vlap scoring the opener. The lead only lasted for six minutes as Ronald Vargas leveled matters in the 19th minute.

Sakala then came from the bench to seal off the victory with 15 minutes left to play after benefiting from an Indy Boonen pass. Midfielder Emmanuel Banda was left out of the matchday squad.
