Harambee Stars drop in latest FIFA ranking

Kenya's Harambee Stars has dropped in the latest FIFA ranking, moving to position 107 right from the 105th they held just before the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The drop comes after a not-so-pleasant performance by the Stars at the tournament, where they managed to pick a single win and were knocked out in the group stages.

The tournament's finalists Senegal continue to lead the standings in the continent despite losing the final match and are placed 20th in the world.

New Africa kings Algeria have moved up the ladder after their impressive win in Egypt, and are currently fourth on the continent behind Nigeria, Tunisia and leaders Senegal.

Morocco, Egypt, Ghana, Cameroon, DRC and Ivory Coast complete the top 10 best teams in the continent.

Across the world, Belgium are atop the standings, followed by newly-crowned Copa America winners Brazil.

World champions France are fourth, while England, Uruguay, Portugal, Croatia, Colombia, Spain, and Argentina complete the top 10 list.
