Breaking: Polokwane City coach Vukusic quits after top five success

20 May 2019, 15:50

Polokwane City head coach Jozef Vukusic has told Soccer Laduma he has left the Absa Premiership club.

The highly unexpected news comes after the Slovak led Polokwane to a superb fifth-place finish - and just after joining in July 2018.

“I am at home and I spent the weekend with my family,” Vukusic told Soccer Laduma from Slovakia.

“Finally, I have decided not to continue with Polokwane City because the family situation doesn’t allow me to continue there. Today, I informed the manager (Bernard) Molekwa about my decision,” concluded Vukusic.
