Liverpool defender doubtful for Wolves clash

Liverpool will have to wait longer before knowing whether or not Andy Robertson will recover in good time for the Premier League clash against Wolves on Sunday.

The left-back was forced off during the team's miraculous comeback in the Champions League against Barcelona at Anfield, after tangling with former Reds Luis Suarez.

“They’re confident that it’s just a nerve or whatever and it can be maybe a couple of days, but we’ll wait and see,” Robertson explained as quoted by Echo.

"We can’t really comment until I get the scan, but I’ll be saying my prayers tonight,"

Robertson has been influential for Liverpool this campaign, having notched 13 assists already, and his fitness will be a concern as the team prepares for the last match of the English Premier League.

He, however, is expected to be fully fit for the Champions League final, which will be in June.

City currently lead the standings on 95 points, one ahead of the reds.
