Neil Warnock unsure over Cardiff future after Premier League relegation

05 May 2019, 10:00

Neil Warnock is not planning on retiring anytime soon but is unsure whether he will still be at Cardiff next season.

The Bluebirds were relegated from the Premier League on Saturday after suffering a 3-2 home defeat against Crystal Palace.

“I think we’ve just (got) to relax for a few days and have a think about everything,” the 70-year-old old talkSPORT after the match.

“I’ve got to let things settle and not do anything rash. I’ve not spoken to anybody. You can’t make rash judgements at this stage of the season with one game to go.

“Mehmet has been amazing with me, so I’m sure we will have a chat, either today, this weekend or the next couple of weeks.

“I will be working next year, I will have a year somewhere. I am looking forward to that challenge again now.”

Cardiff's last game of the season is against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
