Southampton safe after a thrilling draw with Bournemouth
Cardiff City's 1-0 defeat to Fulham meant Southampton are 16th on the log with seven points ahead of the Bluebirds and four clear of Brighton with two games to go. Shane Long was once again on the scoresheet in the 12th minute, however, Dan Gosling and Callum Wilson scored each a goal to give Bournemouth a 2-1 lead in the first half.
In the second half, James Ward-Prowse and Matt Target were on the scoresheet as Soton took the lead for the second time in the match. With four minutes remaining, Callum Wilson scored his second and third for the visitors to deny Soton a win.
