Manchester Derby unfolded as expected, says Klopp

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he was not 'nervous' when he watched Manchester City's derby win on Wednesday - and says the title is not decided.

A number of Liverpool fans were behind Manchester United as a win for the Red Devils could have put the Reds in a pole position to win the title. United suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to their noisy neighbours, thanks to Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane's second-half strikes.

"I watched with my missus and my friend. I was not nervous. It happened exactly as I expected," he told Sky Sports.

"United played very good first half but in the moment they can’t stand City for 90 minutes.  If nothing really strange would happen City would win the game so I was not surprised, nervous. I assessed myself how it feels - completely calm.

"If we win our games the decision will be made last matchday. If they lost the decision would have been made last match day the earliest."

Liverpool, currently second on the log will take on Huddersfield on Friday 26th at Anfield.
