Solskjaer warns his players of Manchester City's tactic ahead of Derby clash

Ahead of their crunch time fixture against Manchester City, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his Manchester United players to be ready for tactical fouling in the derby on Wednesday night.

Former United manager Jose Mourinho also gave a similar warning to his players ahead of the Derby clash last season noting that City are culprits of tactical fouls with Fernandinho being a regular perpetrator, yet he often avoided a booking in matches. United come into the match on the back of one of their heaviest league defeats following the 4-0 loss at the hands of Everton.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Manchester Derby, Solskjaer warned his players of City's tactical fouling, "We've gotta be ready for the press, for their pressing, they've got quality on the ball, so we gotta defend well, when we win it we've gotta be ready for your aggression. Because they will snap at your ankles and heels and kick you, they are not gonna allow us easy counter-attacking because there will be fouls, absolutely no doubt about it."
