According to The Telegraph, Hudson-Odoi, 18, will undergo surgery this week after rupturing his Achilles that is likely to end Bayern Munich's interest in signing him in the summer.
The reports says Chelsea will capitalise on the situation by showing Hudson-Odoi how highly they value him by offering him a new contract during his recovery period.
His current deal with the Blues expires at the end of the season and he had previously rejected all offers for a new contract and even submitted a transfer request in January in order to force a move to Bayern.
