Unai Emery on whether Aaron Ramsey has played his final game after sustaining an injury
After hobbling off with an ankle injury in the 1-0 win over Napoli, Aaron Ramsey may have played his final game for Arsenal with Unai Emery admitting that he is in the dark about whether the midfielder will feature again for the Gunners.
Ramsey is set to join Juventus in the summer transfer window on a free transfer after his contract with Arsenal elapses. The Welshman was subbed off in the 34th minute after a high tackle from Piotr Zielinski with Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming on for him. Ramsey has been in impressive form for Arsenal netting against Napoli in the first leg and scoring again against Newcastle United while his overall contribution has been superb.
Speaking in a press conference after the win over Napoli, Emery provided an injury update on Ramsey, "It's a muscular injury. Normally it's going to be some weeks out of the team. But he was in a very good moment and working very well. We have other players... we need every player."
When asked whether the former Cardiff City midfielder has made his final appearance for Arsenal, Emery simply replied, "I don't know."
