City are two points behind Liverpool with a game in hand which should they win, will give them a one-point advantage over the Reds. Liverpool produced an inspiring performance over the weekend as they overcame Chelsea 2-0 courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. Jurgen Klopp's men are looking for their first league title in 29 years but have come close on a number of occasions including in 2015 when a poor run of form in the final games cost them the title.

Speaking in a press conference after the Liverpool defeat, Sarri was asked about who would win the title come the end of the season, "It's very difficult to say because probably it will depend on the post in or post out. It will be point by point but in the end the difference will be a couple of points." Chelsea are now on a battle to finish in the top four and secure Champions League qualification.
