Oghenekaro Etebo could feature for Stoke against Reading
Stoke City midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has been cleared to resume action with his club on Saturday, March 16 following his inability to pass a late fitness test ahead of Wednesday’s English Championship fixture against Fikayo Tomori’s Derby County.
Football Live that Etebo missed the midweek clash at Pride Park Stadium, after Stoke boss, Nathan Jones gave him a final check late Tuesday, before the squad traveled out to DE24 8X.
This was in contrast with optimism that reigned when Etebo returned to full training on Monday, but Jones insisted that the game against Derby came too soon for the former Warri Wolves, CD Feirense of Portugal and Las Palmas of Spain star.
Jones, though, enthused that Etebo will be back in the matchday squad when they face Reading this Saturday, with a view that the dark-skinned lad would have fully recovered from a grade one muscle injury he picked up after scoring against Nottingham Forest on March 2.
