Injury update on Pogba ahead of Tottenham clash
Paul Pogba is likely to be fit when Manchester United take on Tottenham on Sunday at Wembley, says interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils squad returned to Manchester from Dubai, where the club had been training since weekend's FA Cup match with Reading. He addressed the media shortly after the return where he revealed the news about Pogba who picked up a knock after a challenge from Jonjo Shelvey. The former Juventus man wasn't involved in the weekend's 2-0 win over Reading but joined the rest of the squad in the Middle East.
“He [Pogba] looked okay towards the end [of the training camp], so he'll be fit,” said the caretaker manager.
“He did have some problems but he came through the last couple of sessions well, so he should be okay.”
Update on Marcos Rojo
“He's gone back to Argentina for a while with his injury. How long is a piece of rope? For him, it's mentally important for him to get away and come back fresh again.”
