Monaco sack head coach
Ligue 1 side Monaco has parted way with manager Leonardo Jardim with the club third from the bottom of league standings.
Arsenal legend Thiery Henry could replace Jardim with reports indicating that he could become the head coach to his former club. The Frenchman began his career at Monaco where he helped them to win the Ligue 1 in 1997. Jardim was appointed in 2014 and led the club to the French title in 2017, their first since 2000.
The Portuguese also guided Monaco to the Champions League semi-finals in 2016-17 and helped develop players such as forward Kylian Mbappe, now at Paris St-Germain.
AS Monaco & Leonardo Jardim will announce the end of their collaboration in a press release tomorrow. (C+)— Get French Football News (@GFFN) October 10, 2018
