League concludes for pair in South Asia
The post season ten-team Nepalese League came to a conclusion at the weekend.
Unbeaten Nepal Police were crowned the league winners after the conclusion of the one off games. After nine rounds, the Police team landed 21 points to be crowned winners ahead of second placed Himalayan Sherpa who had two points less.
Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) that has had two Kenyans in its ranks; defender Thomas Biketi and striker Gerald Mukonza Mutiso ended fourth with 16 points in nine games, a position and point off third placed Manang Marshyangdi.
Nepal Army, Three Star and RCT took up the next positions after all tied on 13 points.
New Road Team, Sangam Club and Mitra Milan on 11, three and one points respectively took up the last three positions on the ten-team log.
After the Nepalese adventure, the Kenyan duo have been linked to Kenyan Premier League side Karuturi Sport.
