United plot stunning world record move for PSG ace

Manchester United is reportedly plotting to acquire Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr in an absurd £443m move.

French news outlet Le 10 Sport has claimed that United is prepared to upstage the world record £198m switch the Brazilian made from Spanish giants Barcelona to land the marksman in order to bolster both their squad and their profile in world football.

Neymar, who has scored 20 goals and assisted another 12 in 22 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 juggernauts this season, has also been linked with a sensational move back to Spain, where defending La Liga champions Real Madrid are rumoured to have put him at the top of their transfer wish list.

Analysts believe that the battle for the 25-year-old will ultimately come down to a bidding war between United and Madrid since the two clubs are the only potential suitors with the necessary financial firepower to see through such a move.
